What is Google Search Console and what is it for?
Google Search Console (GSC) is a free panel from Google. It shows how your site looks in search: which queries it appears for, how many people click, and whether Google can find and index it at all.
What is Google Search Console for?
Three things. You see the queries people actually type — not the ones from a workshop. You see clicks, positions, and a drop before the phone stops ringing. You see errors: excluded page, sitemap, mobile version. GSC does not show competitor data. It shows your site through Google's eyes.
Heart and intuition are great for building relationships, but not necessarily for building a business. If you run a company and do not base decisions on data, you are using an untested recipe.
Having a site is one thing. Paying for it and then waiting for clients to arrive on their own is like driving a motorway with no speedometer and no fuel gauge.
That gauge online can be Google Search Console. It tells you how and when people see your site in search. If you never open it, you are losing money. Here is why.
1. What are customers actually typing?
We often think we know what we sell. Reality is different. You may say "comprehensive legal advice for companies", while potential clients search Google for "how to file bankruptcy quickly".
See the difference?

These are not just words. These are your customers' needs, written in the search bar. Does your site answer them?
2. The ECG of your business
A website (and the search ecosystem) is a living organism. Today it works. Tomorrow Google changes the algorithm and your site drops to page 50.
Visibility trend and average position are the ECG of your company. If the line goes up, the strategy works. If it tanks and you do not see it, you wake up when the phone stops ringing.
3. Why are you still not using it?
If this matters so much, why do most small founders ignore GSC?
Google Search Console is an engineering and marketing tool. It is raw, full of charts and jargon. Messages about indexing errors or mobile issues scare anyone who is not a developer.
And you know what? You are allowed to feel that way. Your job is to grow the company, not to become a technical analyst.

Data is valuable, but too much of it freezes people. You do not have to be an analyst to use what Google already shows you.
Tech for people who think: my take
You do not have to log into another panel and lose time on charts. I care about agency and specifics.
That is why in my offers I take this off your plate. I do not send raw dumps. Each month you get a report with three facts:
- Visibility trend — one glance: are we growing or falling?
- Average position — a check of your strength in search.
- Top 5 queries — the phrases you actually appear for. A ready hint for what to write and what clients care about.
Take back control
Technology should support the business, not make it harder. Stop guessing where clients come from. Start managing that knowledge.
Working with me, you get a partner who cares that the business is visible and safe — not just an "IT caretaker".
