How to add the signature

  1. 1Click “Copy signature”.
  2. 2Open Gmail → gear icon → “See all settings”.
  3. 3In the “General” tab find “Signature” and click “Create new”.
  4. 4Paste the signature (Ctrl+V or Cmd+V), scroll down and click “Save changes”.

Is the generator free?

Yes. No sign-up and no email needed. Your data stays in your browser and is never sent anywhere.

Why does the signature look different after pasting?

Usually the email app changes the font or spacing. Paste into an empty signature field. In Apple Mail, turn off matching the default font.

How do I add a photo or logo?

Upload the image to your website or another server and paste the link into “Photo or logo link”. A square of at least 160 × 160 px works best.

What should a professional email signature include?

Name, job title, company, phone and website. Businesses can add a company or VAT ID. Less is more: 4–6 lines is enough.
